$300 to spend on a graphics card. 770 now or Maxwell?

Hi there, building a new computer and I want to ask whether I should wait for Maxwell or pull the trigger on the 770 now? I have to go Nvidia btw (Trying to Hackintosh).

This is the most optimistic rumor I have seen for the 880 .... June 2014....others say September.

You could always wait for the 800 series announcement that drives the prices of the 700 series down. Or just wait until one goes crazy on sale like New Egg's shell shockers.

I'd wait for Maxwell.
If Maxwell is a big improvement, then you'll be glad you waited.
If Maxwell is not a big improvement, then either way their release should force the cost of the GTX 770 lower.
