I am working on my first computer build, all the fans turn on, and all of the light turn on. No number displays on the LED number indicator on the motherboard, however there is a red CPU_LED light which is on on the motherboard. I have gone through the troubleshooting thread multiple times.

At first I bought the wrong kind of processor, so I sent it back and with the one they sent me it still didn't work. So then I got a new motherboard sent to me. Then I thought that the processor that they sent to me didn't work, so I sent it back and the new one just got here today. It still doesn't work :(

Here is my build.

Intel core i7-4770K Quad Core (3.5 ghz, 8 mb cache, intel hd graphics)
ASUS Maximus VI HERO DDR3 2800 LGA 1150
Coolermaster HAF 912
Windows 7 home premium
Kingston digital 120gb ssd
GTX 760
Coolmax 600w power supply
WD Blue 1 TB desktop hard drive
Kingston Technology HyperX Blu 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM (Kit of 2)

I am totally stumped and I am super annoyed with this, I WANT IT TO WORK ALREADY.

If you put the wrong CPU in the socket ya likely borked the pins..

take the GFX card out and try again....oddly enuff I have had this happen to me before on Asus boards when GFX card was bad..... took the card out, it worked, put the card in, its didn't

Call Asus tech Support and have them walk ya thru troubleshooting process.

None of the pins look bent, and the wrong processor was when I had the first motherboard.
After taking out the gfx card and trying again, nothing still works. Nothing displays either and the CPU_LED is still on. However, I accidentally had the power for my cpu unplugged and the CPU_LED was off so I thought that I fixed it for a second haha.

Just realized I forgot to put the ram in my build. It is Kingston Technology HyperX Blu 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM (Kit of 2)

None of the pins look bent on the CPU port though.

even after clearing the cmos, the CPU_LED light is still on and the computer still doesnt POST or display anything. ''

EDIT: after posting again in a different forum, I have found the problem to be the psu.
