This may be an irrelevant question but I've been looking at some of the new 9 series motherboards and its easy to compare hardware features on the motherboards. I have no problem with that. But when it comes to UEFI and included software it becomes much more subjective. My question is, is comparing software from motherboard manufacturers like asus and gigabyte worth it? Does any of their software actually make a difference and if so which manufacturer typically has the best software?

Asus probably has the most user friendly uefi, MSI and ASRock close behind, although wording and naming can be a little confusing to beginners, gigabyte is the least user friendly, but is also somewhat more in-depth, so better for advanced users. In my experience anyways.

This is for average boards, once you get into the top of the line z boards, the uefi's can get pretty nuts with all the OC settings.
