What yoy are asking is can you use your old spares?
The answer is quite simply 'No.'
You will not build a machine that will be reliable or powerful enough for todays software and tasks and save any money over buying or building something new. Todays pc is ten times the power of anything from 12 years ago. A budget box from any manufacturer would be the solution.
