Hi guys,

I need some help because I've been up since yesterday trying to figure this out.

My Rig:
Core i5 4670k
MSI Gaming GD65
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4)
Sli
Sparkle GTX 460 Calibre
MSI GTX 460 Hawk Talon Attack
Seagate 1.5TB 7200RPM
Western Digital 1TB 5400RPM

It all started after I updated Microsoft Office updates from the Windows Update section mainly the Microsoft office updates along with Nvidia driver version 335.23 via Geforce Experience. The updates were ready so I hit restart now and after I came back after a few mins I saw my PC running with the hard disk led flickering showing that it is working but the LCD was not picking up a signal. I restarted my PC and right after the logo screen the LCD says no signal.

I have tested both cards individually (also used bios to check if motherboard is detected the cards and device manager to see if it has an errors which it does not)and I get the same issue with them so I know it is NOT the cards since when I uninstall the Nvidia drivers and reboot, it brings me up to my desktop. As soon as it automatically install drivers or are manually installed and rebooted, the LCD says no signal after the logo screen.

Now, I have tried using three previous video driver versions from Nvidia and right now on 334.89 but it does the same thing over and over again. AS SOON AS THE NVIDIA DRIVERS ARE INSTALLED IT BEHAVES LIKE THIS!

By going in safe mode I've uninstalled all the updates I had installed on that day, fixed my registry, ran pervx black screen of death, confirmed the value for the shell file to be explorer.exe under HOTKEY_LOCALMACHINE, disabled all on startup via msconfig, ran check desk, don't have a restore point, and what not.

Right now I am using the on board video controller Intel HD Graphics 4600. Seems to bring me up to my windows screen and desktop without any issues. I know I can re-install windows but will probably lose all my installed games and progress i.e. mainly assassin's creed 4 which I have completed 72% through sheer hard work and dedication lol.

Thanking everyone in advance : )

Sincerely,

Sam
