CPU/Mobo temps question/help/advice

I've got a Haswell i7 4770k, and have never overclocked it. The fan I am running is a hyper 212 EVO and a Z87 pro mobo. I just noticed today my temps in game jump between 50-70 randomly. I also am noticing on bootup that sometimes the cpu fan shows as its resetting itself, yet it never stops spinning.

On idle it stays at about 38-41 and never jumps/spikes.

I have not updated the BIOS. I really don't mind the BIOS not showing the fan running at times, since I know it is.

The temps I get are while running speccy and cpuid

So when tabbed into game, with nothing running in the backround I get anywhere from 48 to as high as 70C
