my monitor is showing out of range after window xp start up screen

Solution
The resolution or refresh rate is set too high in Windows display settings, higher than the your monitor supports.
Reboot and immediately keep tapping 'F8' until the "Advanced Startup Options" appear.

Use the arrow up/down keys to highlight "VGA Mode", then press <Enter> key.
When in Windows VGA mode, uninstall the display driver.
Set the display resolution to any of the available values and restart normally.
Now re-install the display driver and set the display resolution to a value that your monitor supports.
Restart again and you should be okay.
