I can't start my computer up, it comes up with the intel boot then gives me a message saying something is unsupported and that i have to either take the cable from my displayport(Which i use to connect it to my TV) or remove the PCI-Express slot 1? What does this mean?! Will i ever be able use it properly, and my PC doesn't have a HDMI slot so what else apart from the displayport could i use to get 1920 resolution?!

sounds like something isn't happy with it

do you have onboard graphics that you could use instead of the gpu?

1. Try making sure your GPU is seated properly. See if it works.
2. Take out your graphics card and use the integrated graphics. See if it works.
3. Tell us what your results are.

I was planning on getting a HDMI to VGA Converter and then connecting my VGA from my PC to one end of the converter and then connecting a HDMI cable to the other end to my TV, would i be able to use 1920 x 1080p?

errr if there's nothing in pcie slot 1, then I have no idea why that message is coming up?

as far as resolution, just using a hdmi will not give you the ability to output 1920x1080

You monitor has to be able to handle that resolution.

What monitor do you have?

without knowing the model, if it's 1080, they yeah it should be ok with displaying 1920x1080

Try going into your BIOS and making sure you don't have your display adapter set to PCIe slot 1 or something.
