Sometimes no video on boot / R7 260X

Hi guys,

The problem is that sometimes i've no video on boot (no beeps neither).

I recently bought a new GC (Sapphire R7 260x 2gb DDR5) + NOX NXS750 (750w).

Previously had:

- Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H
- PSU 500W
- Nvidia 8800 GTS 640gb
- Kingston HyperX blue (2 x 8gb DDR3 1600mhz)
- Intel I7 4770 (3.4GHz)

There's something strange because I can make it works, but just for a time.
I mean, I turns on normally at morning, use it for a day if I want, but when I power off, then doesn't boot anymore (except if I wait for a couple minutes, plug off and plug in, it works again)... it's really strange.

I've checked:

- Mount all components out of case. SAME PROBLEM.
- Check another PCI port. SAME PROBLEM.
- Try another PSU 500w. SAME PROBLEM.
- Normal GPU and CPU temperature when stress it.
- No beep when issue appears.
- Onboard graphics always works properly.

Any suggestions? I'm going crazy

, first i reply to that thread and then create my owns...

anyway, yes, i re-install OS after receive install the new GPU and PSU.
And, no, previously I had the Nvidia 8800GTS 640mb and worked properly.

You might want to just make sure that the video priority in your motherboard's BIOS settings is set to the pcie.

Just something to look at before you go ahead and RMA it. =]

as I told before, If i wait some minutes, and plug off / plug in, I can make it works, so it doesn't seems like a video priority...

I would still check it out if I were in your position. =P I said priority, it isnt an on or off switch. =P Its not like a few minutes is much up against the weeks it will take for an RMA.

Hm, if you have a friend or someone that you could try their in your pcie slot, that would be a nice step before RMA. Just to rule out the possibility of a bad pcie slot.
