I7-4930k
Asus Rampage IV Black
I am on the latest bios and I have downloaded the ASM1061 drivers off the included mobo disc and latest driver off asus's website. The ASMedia SATA controller is enabled in the bios. The bios only allows me to modify the x79 SATA ports. Drives plugged into ASM1061 do show up under the boot tab drive list. THERE IS JUST NO WAY TO MODIFY THEM OR MAKE THEM SHOW UP IN WINDOWS
I cannot for the life of me figure out how or where I can view and modify drives attached to the ASMEDIA SATA ports (or make them show up in windows.
Please help. Am I just a moron or do I need to RMA my board?
I've worked on this issue for about a week now and this is my last resort before I RMA. I cannot believe ASUS made it this complicated the enable the additional 4 6gb/s on the ASM1061 chipset.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
