so i recently noticed the monitor mentioned above can go up to 76 hz refresh rate so naturally i tried to change it and when asking a friend how to do this he said i should get a dvi-d cable and use that since it should be able to go above 60hz this way so i researched everything found out my monitor and graphics card both had dvi-d so got a dual link dvi-d cable and as soon as i started using it i noticed how much more crisp everything looked but still i cant seem to change it to 75hz without forcing it and then there is just lines everywhere and its all fuzzy so im wondering is it due to my graphics card not being powerful enough to support this or am i just doing something wrong ?
