Hello!

After sucessful overclocking FX 6300 cpu from 3.5mhz to 4.5mhz now its time to boost my GPU as well.

I have MSI Radeon r9 270x Twin frozr gaming. I would like to overclock it. I wonder how much will be my max temperature? Also i will be overclocking in MSI after burner and test it in MSI KOMBUSTOR. I would want to know when is right to stop overclocking? Should i just watch to not get over max temperature or ?
And how long should i run MSI KOMBUSTOR for test?

My pc specs:

xfx 650w
fx 6300
sabertooth 990fx r2.0
8gb ram

Solution
Look for artifacts or too high temperatures. 80C in Kombustor is pretty safe, 90C is pushing it. Ultimately it's up to you how high you're comfortable with going.

You don't necessarily have to run Kombustor all that long while you're raising clocks. But when you've hit your highest stable OC I would recommend running it for a good long while to make sure it's really stable.

I had it on +16 power limit and raise it core from 1200mhz to 1230mhz then i get popup message that my display drivers stop working. Is this mean that i push overclock to high ?

If you want! It's always fun to see just how far you can push your GPU. Record the clocks you have now on paper and try for more. If it doesn't work you can revert to the clocks you wrote down!
