Hey guys, I am deciding to upgrade my gaming Rig. Right now I have a 155 Chipset Mobo and a 3570k. I just want to buy a new motherboard and CPU. When/What is the next release of the Intel CPU's so i can buy my parts at the right time (K Series Only). Also Im not sure if its confirmed but I think the Socket is 1150 just throwing that in there. SO, basically if anyone can tell me when the next Intel K series CPU's are released that would be great, also the socket type. Thanks guys!

The Haswell Refresh just released. (works with B85, H87, Z87, B95, H95, H97).

The unlocked Haswell Refresh [K series] (i5 4690K, i7 4790k) are expected to release around early June. (works with B85, H87, Z87, B95, H95, H97).

Both are socket 1150.

Broadwell is expected to release at the end of this year or early next year and will be limited to the B95/H97/Z97 motherboards.

Skylake is expected to release in 2015 also, and will work on the 100 series motherboards.

The fact of the matter is, your i5 3570K already almost matches the performance of the i5 4670K and i5 4690K. There is no reason to upgrade your CPU and motherboard.
