'right around the corner' is such a relative term. I don't expect there to be huge discounts on those parts.
Granted for graphics cards the differences between generations may be significant, but for the rest of the system you'll be pretty much as well off now as you will be in 6 months.
So depending on what you are running now, you could always build a machine without a GPU ( or if you have an existing one use that ) and rough it out with the integrated GPU until you see the situation around the corner and then spend the money for the GPU.
