So I have never done this before but with previous posts on here as well as help from friends, I have compiled a list of a PC that can run 3D programs such as Maya, Zbrush, UDK, cryengine, you name it, I want to be able to run it, as well as be able to run games well.

I have put together this list with the absolute maximum budget in mind.

CPU- Intel Core i7 2600 core 4.5
CPU Cooler- Cooler Master hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard- Asrock p67 Pro 3
Memory G.skill Ripjaw
Storage- Samsung Spinpoint 1TB 3.5
Graphics Card- Asus Geforce GTX 660
Case Sharkoon BD28
Power Supply- Corsair 750w cx builder

I wanted to know:

Is all this compabilitable with each other? (I only ask as I have no idea what makes them compatible about from the size of the case)
Are there any cheaper alternatives while maintaining the same amount of processing power?
Is the power supply large/small enough for this build?

No reason to pay that much money for now four generation old hardware. You can get a much better system with much newer hardware like this:
