There are more than one Seasonic 520W PSU. Is this yours? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094
If so, it should have 1 x 6 pin and 1 x 6+2 pin PCIe power cable. And they should be marked as such.
But that PSU isn't any too big for that card. Good thing it's a high quality unit.

were you able to run the r9 290 in the said PSU? Mine is Seasonic M12II Bronze 520w, did this turn out ok?
