However I cannot seem to find an 8 pin connector to insert, am I missing something?

Solution clutchc May 15, 2014 There are more than one Seasonic 520W PSU. Is this yours? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094 If so, it should have 1 x 6 pin and 1 x 6+2 pin PCIe power cable. And they should be marked as such. But that PSU isn't any too big for that card. Good thing it's a high quality unit.
