Hello all.
Long time prowler, but decided to join to become part of the community.
I just had one of my HD7870s die. I have looked for a replacement but they seem to be 'discontinued' everywhere I look.
What are my options as far as purchasing something to fill the gap in my xfire setup? Will the current equivalent (a R9 270/270x if my understanding of AMD's new branding is correct?) work with my existing 7870?
I'm quite happy with my current rig and hadn't planed on upgrading/rebuilding for about 12months.
