no such partition.

I'm running a dual boot Windows Vista/ubuntu I deleted the ubuntu partition and now when I power up I get the no such partition grub rescue. I do have recovery disk for vista os but I get a message "this computer can not recovery from disk" help!!!!!

Yea now I know not to delete a partition like that, so how can I fix it?

Yes you can but you erased the grub bootloader. You need to repair your mbr. Easiest way is to download boot-repair and it'll do it for you using the default repair.
