My parts, minus the storage which is a sshd: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3DXzc

I just finished putting together my desktop today, and I'm not getting any video output to my display. Every single part seems to have power, including led cpu temp display, case fans and external speed control, cpu fan which is plugged into mobo, gpu fans are spinning, and I've gone through every troubleshooting step in http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems Keyboard/mouse light up/keyboard num locks work fine, and I'm pretty sure the computer is doing something, as at some points ill have to hold the power button for it to turn off, whereas if I leave the PC on for a few minutes pressing the power button will turn it off instantly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm not too experienced with hardware.

Solution
does your motherboard have VGA port? it might not be configured to detect the GPU right away (please tell me your mobo has this, or it will be 4th post i see having troubles with no display on motherboards without integrated graphics) :p

wow i actually did it right o.0, oook, configure your PC in the BIOS for it to show display from the GPU, you can leave the integrated graphcis enabled for backup, but enable the PCIe port for display too, BIOS! can't configure that anywhere else

oh man it's hard to guide through bios because they are all kind of different, search for an display option, or a guide in youtube or search in googlehttp://smallbusiness.chron.com/enable-pci-express-card-slot-36591.html
