Wanted to buy a 1440p monitor because my pc can handle it and love to play my PC games, not only that but my PS3 with my friends. I have no idea on do those monitors take HDMI or just DVI will it look off since of the resolution downscale from HDMI. Some answered by reddit, it will look a tad bit off. But I need a real answer on this can I use a HDMI to DVI converter if that exists to connect my ps3 to my monitor and just have my PC with just DVI, I do need 2 ports. I just need to know does this work?

if the monitor has the connections it will work you will just need to run your audio to a receiver or other speakers
Can I find a monitor 1440p with jacks on the back of it for my headphones I have a Samsung SyncMaster S23B550, which I'm pretty sure is discontinued, but it has jacks on the back of it for headphones and headsets, though I don't care if there is static like there is now with this monitor.
