I am unable to choose a good power supply for my rig, here are the details of my rig.

Processor: AMD FX 8350 ( Would like to overclock )
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270X ( Would like to overclock too )
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula
RAM: 8 GB of DDR3 Corsair Vengeance clocked at 1866 MHz with CL9 latency
CPU Cooler: Noctua NHD14
HDD: Seagate Baracuda 1TB
SSD:Samsung 840 128 GB SSD
and a DVD Writer.

I want a power supply with a 80+ certification and i don't want an expensive one as I don't have much money left.

Any good quality 500 or 550 will be fine for your rig. Is this a gaming rig? You'd probably get better performance by dropping the SSD and going with a 4670k or upping your video card. Sure the SSD is nice to have for load times, but it really doesn't help actual gaming performance.

Something like the XFX 550, seasonic, corsair... whatever you can find like that with a good sale on.

+1, but if you get a PSU from Corsair, only get one from the TX, HX or AX -series. The rest are bad quality.

He has a noctua nh-d14 in that system.

I think they are good enough, they have a 5 year warranty.

That is not what I would call a cheap PSU. It's also extremely overkill for this build, even for OCing and Crossfire.

Well, I told this with the respect that this is the only psu in the market that has such a good pricing and if he wants to update his pc later he wouldn't have to spend more its like he will take a 500w psu now and later buy a 800w psu for his new components, and obviously you do know the fact that Pc is such a thing that need constant upgrading in every 3 years. So its like he will be spending so much more just for a PSU.

Only when crossfiring would such a psu be justified. For other single card upgrades is a ~550watt enough, maybe ~650watt if he's going for a high power consumpion card.Talking about r9 290(x) or 780 ti and keeping an eye on the wish for overclocking.

Yes, it would be more 'future proof', but if he doesn't have money, he doesn't have money.
