My computer has:
CPU : Core2duo E7300
Motherboard : Intel DG35EC(LGA 775) (http://ark.intel.com/products/34689/Intel-Desktop-Board-DG35EC)
RAM : 4GB DDR2

I am planning to buy Nvidia GT640 2GB GDDR5(http://www.zotacusa.com/geforce-gt-640-zt-60209-10l.html).I need know whether this will cause any bottlenecks in performance due to outdated motherboard. If it will, can you suggest any other gpu??. Thanks in advance.

Solution
The GT 640 is a good choice for your CPU and motherboard, especially for the price. No, it won't bottleneck on your motherboard as it has a full PCI-E X16 slot.

You won't be running games on high settings (unless they're older), but you should hit medium.

Personally I'd try for a slightly higher spec graphics card than the 640 if you can manage it.

The new GTX 750 is a fantastic card and doesn't require external power connectors if your PSU isn't that powerful. You're machine is fast enough that in non cpu intensive games you'd get much better performance out of the 750, and if down the line you get a more powerful system you can keep the card :)

I also think the GTX750 (or even GTX750Ti) would be good choices. Particularly if you have any intention of building a new system, buy a card that is worth moving to the new rig. Even if it is bottlenecked by your CPU now, it will save buying another card later. The GTX750Ti also does not need auxiliary power.
