Hello I am looking for a relatively inexpensive graphics card to put into my desktop, not looking for anything too amazing just better than the integrated graphics. I would say that i wouldn't want to spend any more than 150 dollars (canadian). I am not looking for anything amazing just something better than what i have.

ps i usually game on my laptop , what has i think a 512 ati mobility in it ( premium if that means anything )

thank you very much to those who take their time to read this

Exactly. If your power supply is under 400W, I would recommend going for a GTX 750/750Ti (a version with no additional power connectors). If it's more than that, you can get a more powerful card like the R7 260X (a PCIe power connector is required for this). If it's under 350W, I would recommend getting a new PSU.

OK so aside from having to upgrade the power supply what are some decent cards that would be sub 150 dollars ( again canadian )

The aforementioned r7 260x is the strongest in its price range, plus it has full Mantle support and TrueAudio (Which is really cool when its implemented).

The r250 is the strongest and newest of the bunch. It doesnt have all the bells and whistles a 260x has. It should play newer titles on medium settings just fine though.

Yeah, most of the newer titles. With games like BF4 you'd have to settle for low settings though.
