Yes - Asus is solid. May I suggest a SSD for your boot drive - around 120GB should be sufficient.

Also look at the newegg version of this as well as the Amazon - and read the negative responses. I find it is very usefull to see what upsets some people. Then if it is not an issue for me I won't consider it a deal breaker.
