Hey guys!

I'm thinking of upgrading my PC. So the specs in my mind are

CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Zotac GTX 660 Synergy Edition
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB for now, by November I will buy another 4GB stick
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

I'm on a very tight budget so I can only go with these specs so specs suggestion is not necessary. :)

Anyway, I know that my present PSU won't support GTX 660, so will Corsair SMPS CX500 Watts PSU work with these specs? Should I get this PSU?

Any help would be appreciated! :D

Yes it will work. Can I advise that you change the mobo, it only has sata 3gbs.
The MSI one below has 2 sata 6gbs + supports ram faster than 1333Mhz and still has the usb 3.0: the MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) Micro ATX AM3+

Thanks for your answer! But that MoBo only has 2 memory slots. I need 4 memory slots. I'm just a young teenager living in a poor country, I don't get much money for upgrades, so my plan is to get 4GB RAM sticks whenever I get the money. If it's only 2 slots then I can only get 8GB RAM most probably.

Yes but you do not need more than 8gb of ram unless you are using editing software, for games 8gb is fine.

But I want a future-proof rig so I'm aiming to get 16GB RAM ASAP. Anyway thanks for the answer!

Edit: Hey, how's Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Motherboard Should I change the MoBo in my list to this one or should I just keep it as it is? :)

The Gigabyte-GA-970A-DS3 is an atx board which means it has more features and expandability, I have the same mobo in black, no problems so far.
