Hello all. I just joined as a Help Desk Technician and am slowly learning the IT field. I know computer components (cpu, gpu, psu, etc) and a lot of Microsoft Office. That helps me with most of my tasks, but I know little about servers and networking.

My company has a used EMC product (link to the pictures provided below) that they are looking to sell. My manager wants me gather the specs and prepare an email that would sell the product.
I asked my coworkers that were available (the ones who know all about it are too busy to assist me) and they told me that it was storage.

I could already tell that because there are dozens components installed in this machine, roughly the size of a HD, that have labels saying either "300gb or 140gb" with speeds (10k rpm)

Could anyone provide me with a description, possibly a link to a manual for this product?

Closer picture of the components (presumably HD storage)

A schematic (two) that is attached to the side

Thanks so much in advance,

P.S. I posted on EMC support. They have not replied to me (2 days) so I figured I would ask this community.

That isn't just one device. there are 6 Hard drive Rack System in there that are most likely daisy chained together to create one large RAID Ararry or a few RAID arrays. And the Schematic are kind of useless for this because it shows that there should be two servers at the bottom which there aren't so I'm assuming this was one of at least 2 Racks of hard drives.

Can you not find any model number on the back??

Now depending on what kind of drives there are (SCSI or SAS) and if those driver are ever good (But even with out its still worth a bit) that rack as a whole is worth a LOT. Again depends on how old it is though and other things. Just pictures won't help much. Look and dig for a model number or seiral number
