Custom fans for h110 and h105...what to choose?

So if both set-ups were using push and pull, would a h105 with 4 corsair sp120 fans perform better than a h110 with 4 decent AF 140mm fans?

In other words:

Using the H105, these:

Corsair Fan, SP120 PWM Low Noise High Pressure Fan 4 pin, Dual Pack

And...

Using the H110, these:

Enermax T.B.Silence UCTB14B 140mm Fan

I can't find any decent 140mm low pressure fans that people are raving about for the H110 but I've been told AF fans can be okay if they're decent. But would 140mm AF fans be that much better than the stock H110 fans?

I really need help on this matter and would appreciate any insight, experience or opinions!

Thanks!

The fans used on stock H110s are cheap versions of their AF140s. You want high pressure fans on a radiator, not low pressure. Doing push/pull alleviates the need for higher pressure fans, and since there really aren't any good high=pressure 140mm fans out that I know of (that aren't annoying) you could do 4 AF140s in push/pull on the H110.

That said, there really won't be a difference outside the margin of error really between an H105 and H110. The H110 may edge out slightly.

On a side note, I plugged in my H110 fans wrong the other day after switching them out, and turned the system on. The fans didn't spin at all, but with decent case airflow, the CPU at idle didn't go above 32.

Hey sorry I didn't get back any earlier I swear I signed up for instant notifications but no emails were sent to me.

Anyway, what a great answer! I've never received such a good answer straight away. That situation with no fans working at all and an idle of 32 degrees is interesting, what were you overclocked to and is it a push/pull you have?

I' know i'm responding to this thread late but bit-fenix makes a pretty good fan with static pressure. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/bitfenix-case-fan-bffsprop14025kkrp. This fan has SP rating of 2.5 which is more than noctua 140mm fans 2.08 but less than corsairs new SP series which is 3.00. the problem is corsair only makes the SP series in 120mm so i'd go with the bit-fenix if i were you.

Edit: Asaka makes a 3.1 sp 140mm fan, if you can stand the ugly colors http://pcpartpicker.com/part/akasa-case-fan-akfn063.
