R9 280x, sapphire vs his, quick replies please!

Solution
Go for the Sapphire--it'll overclock a little better than the HIS, unless you don't want to overclock then go for the HIS.

Just a heads up, used 290's are going for $250 on eBay right now--I picked up a pair and they work flawlessly. Cheaper and faster than a new 280X :)

Right on, as long as you buy from a reputable dealer (100% rating, tons of transaction) you're good to go. I've bought 5870's, 270X's, and 7950's all from eBay over the years and now 2x 290's and never had a problem :)

Either way the 280X is a great card, but if you need more performance for less money check out the deals on eBay!

The sapphire Vapor X edition has a BIOS problem that overheats the card due to non functionality of a GPU fan, go for the sapphire one then use ati flash to flash the card with the older bios just tell me which one you will buy then i will explain
