new mother board doenst turn on.

so my friend got a new motherboard for his gaming pc and installed it correctly. but when every thing is plugged in it turns on for maybe second and then its is basically dead does anyone know why or how to fix it?

thanks for replying the psu i was using was working fine until this new mobo swap any other ideas?
