Help in choosing powersupply

i3-3220(I have thoughts on upgrading to i5 but I will not overclock)
Asrock h77pro4/MVP
3 hard drives(for games)
4 gm of ram(planning to get 8gb soon)
Sapphire R9-270x(I may crossfire this with another card but in 2-3 years later)

I looked at the tier list and am planning to buy the corsair RM650. Do you think this powersupply can handle the system no problem or should I get a better one?

Yes it will handle it for now. But 750W would be better especially if you change to an overclockable cpu and overclock both cpu and gpu.
However, a single gpu setup would be better than a R9 270X crossfire in my opinion.

I wouldn't suggest the RM series specially if you are planning to crossfire and get an 85 watts CPU eater. I'd go with http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cmpsu750txv2 or if you can't afford this:
