Virus may have broke win 8 (please help!)

The other day a virus (named safesearch or searchsafer or something) made its way onto my computer. I went a couple days without removing it, I just kept saying no when it asked for permissions on boot. I was going to finally get rid of it, but my computer was acting funny and kind of slow so I restarted, turned it back on and it wouldn't let me get back into windows. It kept saying it was detecting problems or repairing or whatever so I tried to re-install win8 but it wouldn't let me restore or anything from the broken windows.

So I decided to make a windows 8 setup flash drive. It wouldn't let me choose the upgrade option because it would say "remove setup drive, restart and boot normally" and that wouldn't work so thankfully I found a spare partition with barely enough space to install windows.

So, is there any way that I can fix my original windows 8 or transfer all of my programs and settings to this one? I really do not want to lose anything and I don't want to reinstall each program manually because there's important things on some of them and I don't think I have the space for everything.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: yep I have like 5mb free on this install.

Try to scan the partition using a good antivirus softwar, from the new windows. if the virus is detected and removed, try to boot into old windows again, if still, not working, you will have to install all the programs on-by-one manually, as transferring files from old partition may be D.A.N.G.E.R.O.U.S.
