Hi,
I've just finished building my first rig, and I had the supposedly brilliant idea of buying a SSD solely for booting, and a 1TB HDD for everything else. This is all well and good, and I installed Win7 Pro on the SSD without a problem. However, Windows doesn't recognize the other drive. The drive is functional, and BIOS recognizes it, but I can't access it in Windows.
Overall, though, I realize I have no clue what I'm doing, what UEFI/Legacy means, or IDE/AHCI, or anything at all in the BIOS for that matter.
So my questions are, what do I need to do to have my computer boot off the SSD but use the HDD for storage without prompting? How does BIOS tie into all this? What have I done wrong?
Thanks for any and all help
