I have a dell inspirion 530 with a mother board: foxcom g33m02, intel core2 duo processor, integrated graphics and 3gb of ram and i have a nvidia geforce 9800 gt (gtx? maybe?) but it is not recognised i have went into bios and tried to do all kinds of things cant install the software because nvidia cant detect hardware. the graphics just go through the integrated graphics i know i have proper power and proper placement into the motherboard so i really dont have a damn clue what to even ask for except why wont it work

Hello... is there a power connector for your video card? 1) try cleaning video card connector with rubbing alcohol and reseating it
2) set the bios for Pcie save and exit.
3) try a different connector on the Video card to your monitor and set the Monitor for that connector.
4) try the video card in a different computer.

Hello... the Best Graphics will be with a HDMI or DVI connection... VGA connection is not what we want your video card to work at...Or DO YOU? WE are just doing some TESTS here to see if your Video card is Good or Bad...OK?

So you are trying to use a VGA only Monitor with the 9800 gt? or 9800GTX ? And your using an walmart adaptor with this setup? This is important information and YES!!! could be the reason why this isn't working B )

Please Give a complete picture of what you are using and how you are using it please.
List all the parts to me... model #'s brands etc...

if it's a double wide Video card it is a GTX if it's isn't it's a GT.
