In these hot days of this bad heat wave in SoCal, my computer tends to react to the heat too and makes it known by spinning the cpu fan faster and when gaming, the gpu fan sounds like a small vacuum cleaner. Its just an EVGA reference gtx 660 sc (bad choice of a gpu in hindsight, but you learn from your past). I have an NZXT Source 210 case, and i only have one case fan, the one that came attached with the case, a stock NZXT case fan mounted in the rear for exhaust. There is room for 5 more in the case. I want to get these fans, and i would if i decided to get anymore fans anyways. Since they would help airflow obviously, would they really be of any benefit to the cpu and gpu to keep heat and noise down considerably?

Hello... a Simple Test is to take off a cover on your case... if all the hardware runs cooler, then yes you need to get get that same temperature of air into or hot air out of your Closed case for cooling.
Also when it gets hotter I down clock my CPU and GPU some for quieter operation.
