Hi, I'm on my first step to building a high end gaming PC. I want the PC to be able to run every game on ultra for a few years. I have some general questions:
- Air or water cooling?
- GTX 760 SLI or single 780?
- i5 vs i7?
- What will get me the most bang for the buck while TRYING to futureproof as much as possible (even though that's impossible)?
I just want some general guidelines to help me through it. Thanks so much!

Solution
well...asus rog will cost you an eye
about cooling ...i prefer air cooling system because of the noisy and water leak problem with watercooling
if you choose for example a noctua d14 air cpu cooler , you will have a really good temp control .
but if you choose a watercooling solution , it can have a water leak and noisy issues to have maybe 5 degrees less of
temperature

My budget is about $2000, so pretty high end. Yes, I will want to OC and I'll be doing video editing, maybe upgrade to a multi monitor later.

I like it :pt1cable: . I might make a few changes like motherboard, storage, and a ASUS ROG graphics card. Thanks! Just one question.. What all will I need for a water cooling loop? Can you give me link to a good guide or something?
