Do you know where to get a PCI-E 6-pin male to male cable? as i can't find it by Google or on Ebay...

I have used up both of the cables on my Power supply ... so i wondered if there is a "stand alone" cable i can buy to connect to the power supply and stretch to the unit that needs power... instead of buying a entire power supply to get the cable...

Hi GrandAndreasK
you would be better off getting a 4pin molex to 6pin pcie cable such as this
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-Molex-to-6-pin-PCI-Express...
edit, lots of different ones out there

What power supply do you have?

It sounds like you have a modular supply, the pinouts on the PSU are NOT standardized. There are no promises that it will be a straight through connection. Most PSU manufacturers will sell you the individual cables that you need, but you should NOT use a generic PCI-e to PCI-e connector because it is fairly likely that the pinout on that power supply connector will not be 1:1 with what the board needs.

The video card that you purchased probably came with some of the molex to PCI-E cables. You could connect one of each of your direct PCI-E connections and then use the molex to PCI-E adapter for the remaining PCI-E connection on each card.

And you should sit far away from the 55 inch that you use as a monitor =)
