I am building my dream gaming build in a red and black color scheme. Would it look bad if I put 2 Reference GTX 780 Ti in SLI with Corsair Red Sleeved Cables? If you think it would, would the EVGA ACX cooler look better?

Hey guys, I can't tell you guys how happy I am that everyone replied. In addition to reading all of your replies and seeing these pictures from a blog my friend showed me (http://blog.hyperexpert.com/brand-new-pc-build-super-awesomeness-d/), I am going to go with the reference design. My build is going to be exactly what this guy has in his system except mine will have 2 GTX 780 Ti's, an Asus Z97 Maximus VII Gene Motherboard, 1 SSD and 1 HDD, and the Corsair AX860. (http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Dtignor/saved/4Gru) Thanks again guys!
The green lights are worth it. I mean seriously, a pair of 780ti in SLI? I would say it's worth owning it.
(EDIT: Owning as in owning with confidence, not simply as in having in one's position.)

Also remember that your cards are going to be face down, so the looks of the fan shroud really doesn't matter much.

I think you should choose the ones with the green lights, it will make them stand out even more.

On another note, wolverine, what are your components? I want a green&black build, but I find it really hard to accomplish... All I can find is MOBO and GPU, but I can¿t seem to find ram or CPU coolers, and not even close to green on an HDD/SSD... Do you just use green leds and fans with leds?

Basically, yes. I have green LED fans, green backlit keyboard, and black mouse with green lights. I don;t have a hard drive, just a black SSD (Samsung 840 Pro). I also have black RAM (Crucial Ballistix Elite). Hover over my user image to see my equipment.

Hi Dtignor,
For the GPU , as terry 4536 said Asus GTX 780ti

for cables i suggest these , bitfenix red/black , cheaper than corsair cables and high quallity

http://search.pccasegear.com/search?asug=&view=list&w=bitfenix+red+black+cables
for case fans Bitfenix spectre pro's for maximum airflow

or a quieter option
Aerocool DS

I would go with the ACX or Direct CU II design but 1: The reference looks amazing! 2: With the "Open-Air" design the hot air from the bottom card flows upward and enters the top card. 3: The Direct CU II has two awkwardly placed green lights on each card. (My gripe is not the green lights, but the weird placing.)
