hello there
I have a decent cooler master 650 watts psu and a decent gaming pc .
for the last week i am experiencing this problem that when i turn on the electricity switch but the PC is turned off, all the component's (i.e Mouse,Keyboard,USBs and Ethernet Socket) Lights are On.
But when I turn on my PC and then shutdown it myself , all the lights turns off then.

It never happened before. It happened when I accidentally dropped my PC from a height of approx 10-12Inches. It wasn't that serious drop, everything works fine but there is a little bit of a dent on my casing dont know if that is what causing the problem.

Anyone know why mouse/ethernet lights are on even when my pc is turned off.

More about : lights turned

It sounds normal to me. When in sleep mode, the PC LEDs would be on. When the PC is shut down the LEDs are off.

Not sure if it is in sleep mode initially when I plug in to electric source. The thing is why is PC in sleep mode initially, it never used to be in sleep mode before.

I doubt if its the sleep mode.

You mean when you plug in the PC. No in that case the LEDS should be off until it is turned on.

If you are talking about the power switch on the power supply, then the electricity isn't completely off,

If you look at another pc in that state, you will likely see the motherboard LED's are still on. If you unlpug it those LED's will go out after 30 seconds or so.

I'm not talking about the Power supply switch. I'm talking about the main electricity switch

I know the motherboard LED is turn on when it is connected to electricity even if its turned off but I'm not talking about just the motherboard LED.

As I said, if the electricity is off and you turn on power to the computer the LED'S that you refer to should be off until you turn on the computer. If that isn't the true, then there is something wrong with case power button.

It is probably a relay sticking somewhere on the mobo. Unfortunately all you can really do is hope it goes away on its own. If it doesn't, you'll have to assess whether you think it's worth it or not to replace it.

I guess this had something to do with ASUS Ai Charger

Another possibility is the conflict with a Haswell motherboard / CPU and a non-Haswell certified power supply. You haven't listed the components, so it may not be a factor at all.
