ASUS P5G41T-M le and G.Skill ripjaws 2x4gb compatability issue

I have an ASUS P5G41T-M le and i tried putting two 4gb ripjaws in it (set for total of 8) but now the computer wont post. Its weird cause i read everywhere that the ASUS P5G41T-M mobo and these ram stick worked fine, however it doesnt showed on the approved list. I wanted to know if maybe i had to do something for them to work? or maybe they are not compatible and i have to return them?

Do you have two modules of the other type of RAM? Test them in A2 B2 to see if they can work. If not, it may be a defective motherboard.

Your mobo is rated to 1333, might be a problem if the SPD boot value of the sticks is 1600, try a single stick if it will boot, set it to 1333 9-9-9-27 and DRAM voltage to 1.56, save shut down, add second stick and then try - also make sure you have the latest BIOS

the ram is only 1066, it should just be plug and play, i keep having to put my old ram back to change bios setting which was a kingston 2gb.

i tried that as well but for some reason still doesnt work... im going to try to return them and get different ones but the problem is that my motherboard's QVL is so old theres nothing useful there plus they dont make half of those rams anymore, so im not sure what to do.

Is it possible that they may be faulty? After searching on a website, the ram seems to work with this MOBO. Further, I have found that if I leave my old ram in and add only one 4gb (specifically one , the other won't work) the computer will boot, but it only reads the 2gb I have installed instead of 6, if I put the other one in it won't post, and the 2gb has to be in slot a1 and 4gb in b2 for it to work

yes i acutally just updated.... but funny enough, i was just playing around with it and finally got it to boot up with my 2gb in slot 1 and the new 4gb in slot 2. thats the only way it will boot up, i cant switch them around or just leave one in. In the bios, it says that i only have 2gb installed, but in CPU-Z it says i have 6gb and on slot 2 it shows that i have a g skill ripjaws, it doesnt reveal serial number or anything but atleast it recognizes it, and the computer does feel a little bit faster. Could the ram just be bad?

I only have two slots and one 2gb stick and two ripsaws. Both ripjaws work in conjunction with the 2gb as long as they are in the right spot . The bios won't recognize it but cpuz does

I have an intel core 2 duo I believe E7500. And the ram I have is a Kingston which is a double sided if I'm not mistaking . It should work I've seen other people with ripjaws on their setup except they have 1333 and I have the 1066

I noticed that if I try to change some bios settings, like overclocking, the computer won't post with the ripjaw on but works fine with the other ram. Maybe some bios setting is what's messing the other ram up?
