I have a 120mm LED fan and it's got 3 holes, I can't find any connector on the motherboard with 3 pins, people on the internet say that if you plug it into a 4 pin connector then the fan will always spin at 100%. Others say that you should plug it into a molex adapter which I don't know if I have but then I would still have no control of the fan. What should I do?

Also some of the fans have a molex connectors where do I plug in those?

The 4 pins are usually designed for more sensitive control requirements like the CPU. If these fans are for cooling, you'd probably need a fan controller to adapt them as well. If not, they will run as expected at 100%.

As for the latter, I think you answered you own question quite expertly. Your PSU (if modular) may well have come with some molex connectors.

So you're saying I should just plug them into the 4-pin connectors?

It shouldn't cause any harm, as long as they fit. You may want to await more expert advice before my own though.
