Hello,I'm having troubles with enabling XMP profile in bios with my Kingston HyperX 1600mhz,they only running at 1333mhz. I recently purchased 2x 8gb ones,i had 2x4gb 1600mhz Kingston HyperX before and everything was fine with them,XMP option appears in bios and i was able to enable XMP with 2x4gb ones,i don't know whats wrong with 8gb ones.. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Mobo is GA P75-d3

Contact the retailer/e-tailer you got it from and let them know, it may either be mis-labeled from the factory or they re/e-tailer may have sold it and had someone switch labels, if it was in a packaged marked 1600 they should honor that and exchange the sticks

Make sure you have the latest BIOS, then try in the BLue slots, if no joy try in the white slots.....if no joy there try each stick by itself.....problem might also be the sticks themselves - Kingston has been changing a lot of their models as far as chips go and seeing a lot of models that were fine originally no longer working on many mobos

I just bought Gigabyte Z77X-UD3h and same shit with it.....i tried blue and white ,now im trying black slots, with single or both stick and Ram speed in bios seems to be locked at 1333mhz just like any other 1333mhz stock memory stick. seems to be a problem with the sticks,is it possible they gave me 1333mhz memory in HyperX 1600mhz blue armor.. it isnt a bios problem because ,i repeat, i have the same memory sticks 2x4gb HyperX 1600mhz and i can make them run at 1600mhz in bios...

Mixing memory kits is not recommended or guaranteed to work. XMP settings for one kit don't apply when multiple kits are used. Since the new memory has never been tested with your existing memory, you are doing your own testing. From the results, you can see why mixing kits is not recommended or guaranteed to work. You might have some success running at a slower speed.
