Hello everybody!
My question is about CPU and GPU balance.
I use 2 way SLI with GTX 660 and FX 8150 CPU.
So what i'd like to know is if my processor powerfull enough for this setup?
I don't have a lot of money to go and buy a new one in case it is not powerfull enough,so
the second part of my question is about what should i do to maximise performance with this CPU
and balance it out with my GPU's.
P.S.
In case i need to OC the CPU,i would be grateful if you tell me how to do this
(in my case with AsRock 970 extreme4 mobo) because i'm a newbie in overclocking.

Peace :)

I think that your SLI GTX 660 underperforms. The FX 8150 may be an 8 core cpu, but it has weak performance per core. I would say overclocking would do. You could do this in the bios by raising the multiplier, or you could do this in ASRock Extreme Tuneup (or something like that). i would oc it to about 4-4,5 GHz.

I already tried to overclock up to 4.5 Ghz,but mabye i did something wrong. My OC was so unstable that PC lagged every 30 seconds and Prime95 rejected to launch the test.
I didn't find any good guides how to overclock AMD FX processors,so i have no clue how to do this. Some people say that upping the multiplier value is not the way to overclock Bulldozer architecture processors, and the better perform with bus overclock. And again i dunno what to do with voltages and other stuff :)
