GTX 760 bottleneck overclocked Phenom II 955 (3.8GHZ)

Hi there would me purchasing a GTX 760 2GB bottleneck my overclocked phenom II at 3.8GHZ from stock 3.2GHZ i need a graphics card upgrade to replace my current old Zotac GTX 460 768MB i hear it will from different forums then i read online that people with a similar setup as me have no problems whats the Truth about it i have also overclocked the northbridge chip to 2400MHZ to help out also running 10GB DDR3 1333MHZ memory i want to play skyrim Left 4 Dead 2 and Crysis at max setting on a 24inch monitor at 1080P

you will get a botleneck, though less of one since you have overclocked, it is still a good choice of upgrade ass you will get much better performance from a GTX 760 from GTX 460.

The GTX 660Ti or 7870 (or R9 270/X for new series AMD), seems to have little bottleneck and great performance.

Hi thanks for the quick reply so would you reccomend me me upgrading to a GTX 660TI for the best all round performance with my proccesser it seems to be £65 cheaper too according to amazon and ebay would i be able to play games on high settings with at least 40FPS i will also look into the AMD cards you suggested i want to get at least another year out of my pc before i do a whole new computer build

Thanks for responses i think i will just get the GTX 760 or equivalent and deal with the tiny bottleneck for now and look into replacing my board and CPU within the next 3- 6 months or so then i can just move a perfectly good card to a newer system without needing to purchase a newer card thanks :)
