Hello there, I am going to build a new pc and I wonder... if it would be better to buy a FX 6300 with 2x4gb ram at 1866ghz

OR

a FX 8320 and a 1x4gb ram at 1866ghz and upgrade to 8gb in some months...... I am going to buy a ga-790-a ud3p motherboard... what do you think? would 4gb ram be enough for the games which are coming out nowadays for some months?

Solution

Yes I suspect it will be fine, looking at most games they require a hefty GPU, while the CPU and RAM are not as important.

The 1866ghz helps the situation by improving the speed, and as I said I have money for a fx 8320 and 1 4gb ram or fx 6300 and 2 4gb rams, I want to put a evo 212 cpu cooler... so I am able to o.c.

there's NOT going to be a big difference. I run 1333. doesn't hurt anything. not even my ego.

I have both a 6300 and 8320. The 6300 generally clocks higher and uses less voltage doing so. It also generates less heat. Therefore chances are it will be the better, faster pick for you.
