red light on motherboard then a hiss and a bad burning smell on boot

so i took all the ram out of my computer as i was selling it and installed some new sticks. they was seated correctly. i noticed a red light towards the right of the ram only on for around 2 seconds then its started smocking and then hissed. i immediately turned of my pc. it happened where the copper or metal is now showing. what can this be and is it safe to run my computer?

yeah thats what i was thinking my self, good job i was planing on upgrading my motherboard

i use to have 16gb ddr3 installed in 4 slots and swapped it out for some value 4gb ram over 2 slots. it has bein used in my dads computer
