Hi i need help in trying to decide about parts i need to upgrade my CPU + mobo with a prospective upgrade with the video card about 5 months from now

Current build
CPU: Intel G620 Sandy Bridge (on its twilight years :D )
Mobo: ASUS H61 mobo
VIdeo Card: Sapphire HD 6770
RAM: 4gb 1300 altough my current cpu only supports till 1033 capped

Usage is from light to moderate gaming, specifically preparing to run Dragon Age:Inquisition in a few months from now on high setting with some degree of AA and other graphical effects, but not aiming for high on everything.

Budget: about $300-$320

im trying to choose from th following options
CPU:Intel I3-4130
MOBO: Asus B85G (chose b85 over h81 for the additional RAM slots and a PCI 3.0)
lower CPU ,BUT I can upgrade current RAM to 8Gb

OR

CPU: Intel I5 4570
MOBO: Asus B85G
however ill just use the current RAM of 4 gb and upgrade later, and use up funds for future video card upgrade

both options hit about $300-$320 in my country

Prospective card ideally would be a R9-270x or a Palit gtx750Ti Storm X Dual or lower if on budget constraints
both options hit about $300-$320 in my country

Thank you for you replies :D

i vote for your second option. Reason is that you can build better in that system, you have a much more stronger cpu, 4gb ram is enought for light to moderate gaming, and in the future you can add +4gb ram + a better gpu.

I would get a second hand i7 2600 off ebay then consider my options.
There is nothing wrong with your platform for games, only the cpu.

Is this your motherboard?

You could get an i5 3570 or i7 3770 without upgrading the motherboard. They would only perform about 5% worse than the Haswell parts.
