I am desperate - overclocking on Intel MB DH87MC the i5-4670K CPU

Hello all,

I have bought a new rig with the Intel MB DH87MC and the i5-4670K CPU few weeks ago and decided to overclock the CPU finally since that is why I bought the K version.

However I cannot seem to find the way of doing it, I've spent last 2 days googling, searching, configuring with no success.

In bios there are settings for changing CPU multiplier, host clock and 1,2,3,4 Core clock multiplier (all underlined in the picture). I am unable to move any of those like if they were locked.

TurboBoost technology is enabled, I have tried reseting the CMOS, restore factory defaults, remove and insert the CPU again.

To my surprise I can change the on-board Graphics clock and memory clock as well. I am also able to change voltages including the CPU's.

Is there a way of unlocking the multiplier editing in Bios, does anyone have exprience with this?

Here is the bios screen:

That's a motherboard with the H87 chipset that does not support CPU overclocking. You need the Z87 chipset for overclocking.
  2. Does that mobo have an UEFI? If so, that's the easiest way.
