Hi all,

I really hope you can help me.

Last week I built my first PC system. It has a MSI z87-g45 mainboard with an Intel 4770K processor, 16 gb ram (2 x 8 gb) and a MSI Twinfrozr GTX 770.

The system runs perfectly smooth without the graphic card inserted. However, as soon as I add the GTX 770, the BIOS wont boot anymore. I can exclude any problem with the other hardware components, since it starts and runs perfectly without the GTX.

I also already sent the first GTX770 back and got a new one, since I expected the graphic card was defect. Did not solve the problem.

When I start the system, it starts loading, all components are running (coolers and LEDs). It just stops to load the BIOS.

What I realized when starting the setup without the GTX is that the menus of the MSI Bios do not load properly. The setting window shows only two of the menu points and when I click between these another menu opens. The hardware profile menu crashes the whole pc... So I think it is a BIOS problem. Resetting the BIOS did not help (did this several times now)...

I think about flashing the new BIOS version (1.7) and hoping that this eliminates the problem. If any of you has other ideas that could help you are very welcome. I really do not know how to solve this anymore.

Thanks for the help :)
