I can log in on laptop but blank screen appears, wont let me do control, alt and delete......just cursor showing help please

Hi, when you push the power button, push after the F8 key to try to go in safe mode. If you can go in safe mode, follow the instructions on this site : http://www.howtogeek.com/164876/how-to-use-safe-mode-to-fix-your-windows-pc-and-when-you-should/
