Hello I am going to be upgrading a GPU and PSU soon to a MSI radeon r9 270x 4gb and a corsair CXM 750w as well as a Phantom 530 case. What I am really wondering is if I upgrade my GPU will it be too much for this old ASRock 970DE3/U3S3 AM3+ or will it not have to much of an effect. If it does not "work-out" I may also upgrade to a ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer AM3+. All flashy names aside I think the ASRock fatality is decent enough. The thought of upgrading my CPU as well lingers, but will be later in the year.
My current relevant specs include:
ASRock 970DE3/U3S3 AM3+
AMD 4350 black edition
500w Psu
gtx 450
2 Harddrives
2 SSDs'
Disk Drive
Old Logisys case can't remember which.
But like I said I am wondering if these are compatible and won't bottleneck. I have built pc's before but on the Intel Nvidia side and am excited to see the AMD field!
